In celebration of 135 years of business, we look back on what Albert Jagger has done for the transport, industrial and marine industries.
Knowledge
Since our foundation in 1887, Albert Jagger has been associated with innovation, excellent service, and the highest quality products for vehicles of all types. With 135 years of history, we wouldn’t be in the position we are if we hadn’t looked after and listened to our customers. We continue to work with our customers to ensure we have a deep understanding of the ever-changing industries.
Innovation
We have been championing innovation and forward thinking to push the boundaries of what we can achieve. One of the ways we maintain our position as market leaders is by trying new things and thinking outside the box.
Over the years we have designed some revolutionary products, including the Antiluce™ fastener, a staple product which has seen vast success over the years. Originally designed for the dropside vehicle market, Antiluce™ fasteners are now used in a wide range of applications, covering all industries.
Centaflex is another innovative concept by Albert Jagger, developed taking full advantage of the latest advances in new materials and manufacturing technology. A stylish, one-piece, continuous hinge manufactured with lightweight, flexible PVC, offering many advantages over conventional continuous hinges currently on the market.
Going beyond expectations, CentaFlow, a wind powered rotary ventilator, was designed by Albert Jagger to deliver superior results, whilst maintaining high quality without compromising on performance.
British-Made
To future-proof the business, Albert Jagger decided to team up with the Manufacturing Technology Centre back in 2019 to deploy 5S, lean and six sigma to bring the manufacture of products, back to Britain.
Following widespread disruption over recent years, the impact on the supply chain has resulted in delayed deliveries, stalled production, and price increases.
By reshoring back to the UK, Albert Jagger have been able to create jobs, reduce lead times, lower carbon footprint, and provide continuity of supply through flexible production.
Apart from all the above, what has Albert Jagger ever done for us?
